I’m Jay Gonsalves.  I’m retired from the U.S. Navy; a dad, husband and grandpa.  I love God, My family, the outdoors, hunting and fishing and I love freedom and liberty.  I’ve decided to add my voice to the social/economic/political stew.   I’ve arrived at the conclusion that we all have views and opinions but it seems we are  uncertain about why and what it is we stand for and unclear about why and who we stand with.  In these posts I’ll leave little doubt about why, what or who, for myself.  Of course, I hope to influence you!  There’s no purpose to write on these issues if not to offer stuff that may help shape, confirm or reveal new patterns of thought.  I hope you enjoy what’s written here but if you don’t, tell me what you think.   I don’t need everyone to agree with me and I am willing to hear your argument.  I might even realize you are right!
